Plantation Garden talk by Lesley Cunneen
February, Saturday 7th 2015, Hethersett Village Hall, 2.00 pm – AGM followed by ‘Plantation Garden’ by Lesley Cunneen
We will, as usual, do our best to get the AGM business over in about half an hour
Lesley and her husband Steve moved to Norfolk in the 1980’s and created a two acre garden in the Brecks which they opened under the Yellow Book scheme. Ten years ago they moved into Norwich where they have a small town garden, which they also occasionally open.
Lesley is a garden historian
They have been members of HPS for 20 years and both are active volunteers with the Plantation Garden. Lesley will be relating its creation, gradual decay and eventual restoration. Today the Plantation Garden is much visited and an English Heritage listed Norwich garden.
