After the chaos caused by yesterday’s snow, Monday February 2nd 2009; today the 3rd of February, it isbeautiful, bright, sunny, even warm in sheltered places. I took a few pictures; not a lot moving yet but snowdrops are begining to make a show and the Alder incana aurea is splendid with its covering of rosy pink catkins. An easy small tree, it does sucker a bit but I deal with that by spraying with glysophate, cutting them off just makes more for later.
