Unfortunately the two Norfolk readings are unavailable and whereas the Pakenham rainfall is a bit less than the East Anglian averages, over the four autumn / winter months, the total for the year is extremely close. This low rainfall however has given us higher than average sunshine figures for East Anglia;

September – 174.7 hrs, 122% of average. October – 158.2 hrs, 141% of average.
November – 65.6 hrs, 95% of average. December – 69.0, 144% of average.

Looking back at the Pakenham readings for 2011 the rainfall in March, April and May was well below average. The total for June, July and August was only 0.5mm more than average. September, October and November also were well below average, giving an overall total rainfall for the year of 442.5mm, the lowest and only 73% of the 10 year average.
