2012 was a year when we saw some of the best and some of the worst of weather in the British Isles, a year of broken records. Our weather in Norfolk and Suffolk was no exception. There were large variations across the region, as shown above with a 366mm difference in annual rainfall between Drayton and Pakenham.

Although September was dry and sunny the final three months of the year have seen unusually heavy rainfall, 146% of average and although sunshine levels were low in October, they were well above average in November and December.I wonder what 2013 will have to offer?
