Please note: The rainfall totals for Drayton do not include a figure for December and for Caister do not include figures for November and December. The H.P.S. averages for those months have been calculated on the reduced number of sites.
It is interesting to note that when looking at the Met. Office averages for East Anglia the high rainfall in October, 153% of average, is mirrored by sunshine hours of only 80% of average. However, low average rainfall in September, November and December corresponds with above average sunshine hours. The incidence air frosts in October, November and December is also below average.
