Welcome to the newly expanded rainfall records. As recordings from Pauline, Terry and NCI Caister were not available for the spring report, their "year to date" figures are not complete. However, this will be resolved with time.

What a summer, May and August were not too bad with about average rainfall and 90% and 95% of expected sunshine. However in England, June boasted the third highest number of days with rain in 50 years and in E. Anglia total rainfall was 174% and sunshine just 79% of the 30 year average. July was marginally better, 84% sunshine, with a 'good' third week, but random heavy rains (e.g. Pauline had 57mm on 6th and 26mm on 13th) lifted the E. Anglian monthly total to 102.4mm, 198% of the average.
