Re: Summer Social on Saturday 11^th July 2026– 6pm to 8.30pm

This year our Summer Social will be held at Dale Farm, Sandy Lane, Dereham, Norfolk NR19 2EA, home of Graham & Sally Watts.

We will not be providing catering, but instead you may bring your own picnic/drinks.  A welcome drink of Pimms or soft drink will be provided on arrival.  There are seats around the garden but if it should rain there are places where we can seek shelter.  There are toilet facilities.

This is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy this 2-acre plant lovers’ garden with over 1,000 plant varieties and wonderfully packed planted borders and sculptures.  This is all complimented with vegetable, gravel and waterside gardens, including a spring-fed pond.  Collection of 150 hydrangeas.

Directions:  16 miles west of Norwich, 12 miles east of Swaffham.  From A47 take B1146 signed to Fakenham.  Turn right at T-junction.  After 1/4m turn left into Sandy Lane (before pelican crossing).  There is a car park nearby.
