Members of the Norfolk and Suffolk group paid a visit to our chairman's garden on a lovely Saturday morning. We were shown Linda's new plantings and she explained that only really since she had retired has she seriously got going on the garden. There was a lot to admire and we all marvelled at the amount of planting she has done already and we were told that this is just the beginning but looking forward to many happy years ahead.

We paid a visit to North Lincolnshire on Saturday June11th 2011 and our first visit on arrival was to Normanby Hall Gardens. The house was once in the Sheffield family, former Dukes of Buckingham.
It is now run by the North Lincolnshire Council as a country park. The Estate covers 300 acres, which includes a Victorian walled garden with fruit and vegetables and has been developed under the guidance of Sue Hoy.
